A while ago, I got it into my head that Isshin might not have actually known just how much the gigai Urahara gave him all those years ago was like a real body. As in he might have believed he would never be able to have children. So I started thinking about his reaction upon learning that he was indeed going to be a father (and I actually pity Masaki for once; you don't want to give Isshin a reason to be more hyper than he always is anyway) and well, I fell in love with the idea. The pose was inspired by a photo sent to me by a friend, of her husband and their daughter when she was a tiny little thing, and as soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for Isshin and Ichigo. And I don't you about you but I can easily imagine Daddy spending entire napping times just staring at his little miracle.

On a technical note, I could have finished it last week, if I hadn't accidentally flattened and resized the psd file while working on it and only realised my mistake the day after... *heads desk* Still, I am please to say that I'm happier with this version than the one I flattened, so yay.
