When I saw *xshelaghx's wonderful picture of Ukitake with glasses [link] I fell in love with the idea and decided I had to try as well. Everything was going well and I even decided to attempt some sort of simple background, and then I looked at the lineart the following morning and no. His upper body was all wrong and I had no idea how to shade that damn background. So I cropped the hell out of it because I still liked his expression, did a quick colouring job and voilà. I'll scrap it soon and try again.

I still think he looks adorable with glasses
